BUSBY SEO CHALLENGE - The Cat’s story

19th of Aug, 2008 lead teams from all over the glob have participated in this BUSBY SEO CHALLENGE competition, and all of them are trying their best. “The Sphere Team”, has been so far the best during the competition. The Strategy they used during the competition is a bit unknown, but they did well is what we should complement. Google employees should have also kept a close eye analyzing, what’s SPAM and what’s not. If they have allowed this team to move forward and rank high, mean they have implemented the right ways.

We researched some of the ways they adopted, and found them fine. Other teams who also leaded well during the competition, did a good job. There also were few good SEOs who persistently made it to the top position during these 90 days. We’ve have released the overall ranking report just few days before.

Again the questions to be asked is

1. Who will win the race?
2. Who will strictly adopt Ethical Strategies?
3. Who will Compromise?

Again it’s to be seen the GOOD wins or the EVIL.

All I know is, GOOD will win in a longer duration, because it’s always seen that GOOD keeps smiling at everyone and then shows it’s real strength. I have a deep feeling that there’s a CAT some where in the hiding, who will come out all of a suddenly from the DEN and reach the top spot, what do you all say?

I just saw this http://nelighyoungmens.com/Pig%20Contest.jpg, and thought it should be not something new to the participants at Busby SEO Challenge. Well, there are participants who are trying hard to stick to ethics and some don’t mind this.

This time there are lot of participants from INDIA who have participated in the competition held by BUSBY (busbywebsolutions.com). Indian participants could not make it to the top 10 but will certainly do it by the end of the month. Again, this time key lead participants are not involved. There are lot of first timers like me, who are here to learn the art of Search Engine Optimization.

We have ranked our website seashellwebs.com at #27 and then went back out of first 100. Then after a week we gained our rank and stayed around #50 on a persistent basis.

We are not here looking to win the competition, but to gain knowledge and understand different ways those everyone adopt. We are also looking out to innovate different approaches to rank a website among the top spots.

We quickly happen to check the Top SEO performers those did well during the BUSBY SEO CHALLENGE so far. We checked the number of times the great SEO friends did hit the first position till 1st of Aug 2008. It is so far very apparent that “Team Seosphere”, is the best performer having gwaradenn too hitting the first position 15 times.

I personally feel, a good company would check the number of times a person made it to the first place, and not who made it through the finals at the last second. Making through the touch line at the last fraction could be luck. But, persistent performance is what people would like to bet on. What do you all say about this? For me “Team Seosphere” is the winner so far.
